Finding help when returning to work

If you have been out of work for a period of time or even if you have recently been made unemployed, you may be able to get help from your local job centre, not just financially but also to help you find a new vacancy.

Many job centres are eager to help people who want to help themselves. If you show that you are interested in getting back in to work and are happy to take any help that they can give you then you may have a wealth of opportunities open up to you that you did not know about.

Often they will have training courses that you can attend for free that are designed to give you help with interviews and CV writing along with setting up your own business if you are looking to go self-employed.  Some may even be able to put you in touch with companies that offer start up loans or grants to help you buy stock or rent premises for your new business venture.
