Deciding you want to study law has to be a very well thought through decision. As if you want to be a solicitor, it will take at least three years to train if you are a law graduate, at least four years if you are a non-law graduate and at least six years if you are not a graduate.
To study law you need to be highly motivated and show you have the academic ability to cope with a demanding course. Qualifying as a solicitor is not an easy task and you will have to face challenging exams and you will have to fund your own studies. Many students are not able to complete their course as the costs are too high and therefore they cannot carry on. Saying that, once qualified the perks of the job can be great making the studying all worthwhile and the pay can also be exceptional.
